Community Feedback Opportunity
The boards would like to hear from community members regarding the district budgets. Please see below for a link to a short survey that will help our boards inform their decisions in the days ahead. Please consider taking a few minutes to share your thoughts. We are working to get this survey translated into Spanish and will send that survey directly to our Spanish speaking families as soon as we can.

Dear Franklin Northeast Supervisory Union Staff, Families, and Community Members,
As many of you know by now, on Monday, April 8, 2024 a total solar eclipse will pass over our area of Northwestern Vermont.
Several of our towns fall within the path of totality which means we will be able to see the sun totally eclipsed by the moon. The eclipse is scheduled to begin at around 2:15pm and will conclude around 4:40pm. Please note that these times are based on data for Burlington, Vermont and may vary slightly for our communities.
Since last spring, our public safety partners have been elevating concerns about the influx of visitors that are expected to be drawn to our area to witness this remarkable event. Hotel accommodations have been fully booked for months, raising concerns about increased traffic congestion and potential transportation disruptions.
In light of these concerns and to ensure the well-being of our community, all schools in Franklin and Grand Isle Counties will be closed on Monday, April 8th. This closure applies to all FNESU schools in Bakersfield, Berkshire, Enosburg, Montgomery, Richford, and Sheldon. This decision was made in collaboration with the other Franklin and Grand Isle superintendents. This day will be made up at the end of the year like a snow day. On Tuesday, April 9, 2024, we will follow a regular schedule with a one-hour early dismissal.
We have ordered enough Solar Eclipse Glasses for all students and staff. Given the high demand, we recommend ordering glasses for your family as soon as possible.
For additional details about the 2024 Total Solar Eclipse, please visit the NASA website. https://science.nasa.gov/eclipses/future-eclipses/eclipse-2024/where-when/

All Schools in FNESU are closed today, March 11th due to the snow, wind, and muddy back roads.
Stay safe everyone!

Here is our latest edition of FNESU Community News! https://www.smore.com/n/09p41
We hope you will take a few minutes to read through as there is important information in the first section about the proposed school budgets that will be voted on tomorrow during Town Meeting Day. There is also a great video featuring students from all of our schools!

Hello ER UUSD Stakeholders,
We would like to inform you of a polling location change for Town Meeting Day in the town of Enosburg. Both town and school voting will now take place at the Enosburg Emergency Services Building (83 Sampsonville Road) and NOT at Enosburg Falls High School as we had originally reported. Richford voting will remain at the Richford Town Clerk's Office. Polling will be open from 10am - 7pm in both locations.

Dear Enosburg and Richford Residents:
Please join us tonight at 7:00pm at Enosburg Falls High School for another informational meeting regarding the proposed FY25 Budget. There is a Webinar option with a Q&A opportunity if you would like to view the meeting from home. https://bit.ly/ERUUSD2024
If you cannot the meeting but would like more information on the budget, please take a look at the video from last week's ER UUSD Annual Meeting: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6WZD5YMiROQ
